Striped linen dress in Majorca

Weiter geht’s mit den Sommer-Looks, denn überraschenderweise haben wir dieses Jahr wirklich Glück und können uns an vielen sonnigen Tagen erfreuen. Fast schon untypisch für den Juli und August in Deutschland. Auch am Wochenende konnte man sich nicht über’s Wetter beklagen. Und ich muss außerdem sagen: es war eins der schönsten Wochenenden seit langem!

Das mag vielleicht daran liegen, dass es mal ein sehr „klassisches“ Wochenende war – weniger Arbeit und mehr Freizeit. Zwar habe ich noch das letzte Sunday’s Cravings-Feature vorbereitet, aber ich habe das über die 3 Tage hinweg verteilt und musste dafür keinen sonnigen Tag opfern.
Am Freitag war ich ein wenig Bummeln und Bubble-Tea trinken mit meinem Freund. Abends waren wir mit meiner Mutter Abendessen. Samstag waren wir mit Freunden am See und haben einfach entspannt. Dort habe ich seit 10 Jahren mal wieder (Beach-)Volleyball gespielt und mir war gar nicht bewusst, dass es mir so einen Spaß machen kann. In der Schuhe wurden wir nämlich ganz schön gedrillt und das hat einem ein wenig den Spaß genommen. Am Sonntag ging ich dann noch mit Anaïs und Laura im Common Ground brunchen. Quality time with the Girls. So etwas könnten wir gern zur Tradition machen. Zu guter Letzt waren wir noch Go-Kart fahren. Wie Anaïs auch schon beim Brunch meinte: Wenn man ein schönes Wochenende hatte, blickt man viel positiver der kommenden Arbeitswoche entgegen.

Wie sieht euer perfektes Wochenende aus?

On to the next summer look since we’re so blessed lately with those sunny days here which is not very common for July and August in Germany. Last weekend was no exception. The weather was perfect. And I must say: the weekend itself was. Probably the best one in a long time.
This might be because it was a quite „classic“ weekend – less work and more free time. Even though I prepared the latest Sunday’s Cravings feature – this time I spread the work over the weekend rather than spending a whole sunny day on it.
On friday I went shopping with my boyfriend and we drank some bubble tea. Later that day we went for Dinner with my mom. Saturday was lake day. We went there with some friends and simply relaxed. But also played some (beach) volley ball. I haven’t played in 10 years and would have not expected to enjoy it that much! In school is was more like torture. On Sunday I had brunch with Anaïs and Laura. We should really do quality time like this more often. And lastly we went to the go-cart track again which was fun. As Anaïs mentioned at the brunch already: If you had a great weekend it’s much easier to start a new working week with a positive feeling.
