Vintage Find: Murano Lamps

Bei mir sind zwei neue Lampen eingezogen! Diese zwei pilzähnlichen Lampen stammen aus den 70ern und sind aus Muranoglas. Ich liebe dieses glühende indirekte Licht und tagsüber sehen die Lampen aus wie kleine weiße Glasskulpturen. Zwar hatte ich mir vorgenommen, vor dem Umzug (nicht, dass dieser schon fest bevorstehen würde) keine Möbel- oder Dekoartikel zu kaufen, doch ich konnte bei diesem Angebot nicht widerstehen. Meistens werden die Lampen aus Muranoglas für um die 400 Euro verkauft, auf Etsy habe ich sie aber für etwa 130 Euro gefunden – es lohnt sich also ein wenig herumzustöbern und ggf. auch nochmal mit dem Verkäufer über die Versandkosten zu verhandeln.

Teile meiner Wohnung zeige ich nicht sehr oft, da ich sie einfach nicht schön finde (hallo Raufasertapete und Fliesenboden!). Das schränkt mich irgendwie total ein, da ich so nicht die Lockerheit besitze um einfach mal so Fotos zu machen. Ein Grund mehr für den Umzug in eine schönere Wohnung. I’ll keep you updated!

I got new lamps – two Murano glass lamps from the seventies that look like little mushrooms. I love the glowing light by night and how they look like glass sculptures by day. Actually I wasn’t going to buy any new interior stuff before I moved in a new home but couldn’t resist when I found them on Etsy for about 130 Euros. Usually they’re sold for 400 Euros each. So it’s worth

browsing around a bit and even negotiate the shipping costs with the seller. I don’t show a lot from my flat because simply said it’s not that great looking (think ingrain wallpaper and ugly tiled floors). It limits me as taking nice pictures here is not that easy. One more reason to move into a much nicer flat. I’ll keep you updated!
