Als die ersten Kollektionsbilder von H&M’s neuem Label „& other stories“ im Internet kursierten war ich schon ganz aufgeregt. Schnell habe ich mir ein paar Favoriten rausgepickt und konnte die Eröffnung kaum erwarten. Allerdings mit einem bitteren Beigeschmack. Denn ich darf ja meinen Shopping-Ban nicht vergessen und die Gefahr schien riesig, am Ende einfach alles< haben zu wollen!
Letzten Donnerstag war es soweit und der Onlineshop öffnete seine Pforten. Wie wir das schon von den etlichen Designerkollaborationnen kennen war die Seite erstmal vollkommen überlastet. Erstmal einmal im Shop war ich dann ziemlich geflasht. Wer schon die Sachen von COS mochte wird den minimalistischen, edgy und expetimentiellen Stil von & other stories lieben. Kein Wunder wenn man bedenkt, dass Behnaz Aram (Whyred) und Schuh-Designerin Nicole Wilson (Acne) ihre Finger im Spiel hatten.
In meinem Einkaufskorb landeten Two-Tone-Ballerinas, ein Kleid mit Ocean-Print und eine silbrige Regenbogen-Clutch. Die Beauty-Produkte werde ich mir allerdings erst im richtigen Laden anschauen, sonst wäre ich durchgedreht. Cool ist, dass der Shop auch andere Marken wie This Works oder Nike vertreibt. Einen fetten Minuspunkt hat das Onlineshoppen bei & other stories allerdings bereits: man kann bis jetzt leider nur mit Kreditkarte zahlen.
Nunja. Nach nur zwei Werktagen kam das Paket bereits bei mir an! Freude! Das Kleid ist echt der Wahnsinn und auch wenn es nur aus Polyester ist, fühlt es sich qualitativ echt gut an. Nur die Ballerinas konnten mich am Ende nicht sehr überzeugen. Schlußendlich blieb es also genau bei den zwei Sachen, die ich mir auch schon im Vorfeld rausgepickt habe – das Kleid und die Tasche – super! Nur bezüglich meines Vorsatzes darf ich jetzt bis Ende April nichts mehr kaufen. We will see :P

I picked some favorites and couldn’t wait for the shop to open already. But with all the anticipation comes a bitter taste as I have to remember my shopping ban. And the odds were that I probably want to have everything!
So last Thursday the online shop opened it’s doors. And just like we know it from former designer collaborations the website was completely overloaded. Finally in the shop I was simply stunned. Everyone who loves COS already will love the minimalistic, edgy and experimental style of & other stories. No surprise if you think of which designer where involved: Behnaz Aram (Whyred) and Nicole Wilson (Acne).
I bought a pair of two-tone flats, a dress with ocean print and a silvery rainbow clutch. I saved up to look at the beauty products at a real store I would have gone crazy otherwise! It’s cool that they also offer other brands like This Works or Nike. & other stories has one big minus though: so far you can only pay via credit card.
Anyways. After two working days only I already got my package! Yay! The dress is gorgeous despite the fact that it’s made of polyester, it feels really nice. Only the flats couldn’t win me over. So in the end I end up with those two things I picked as my favorites before – the dress and the clutch – awesome! I just have to try not to shop until the end of April, according to my resolutions. We will see :P
