| Teil 1 meiner USA-Fotoserie „Lone Rock Beach“ haben wir in Utah gegen Ende unserer Reise geshootet. Der zweite Teil, den ich euch heute präsentiere, wurde dagegen zu Beginn des Roadtrips festgehalten. Nach unserem kurzen Aufenthalt in LA war Tucson – genauer gesagt der Saguaro National Park – unser erster richtige Stopp auf unserer Liste. Man stelle sich eine Landschaft übersät mit Kakteen vor. Aber nicht nur irgendwelche Kakteen, nein. Der Saguaro National Park beheimatet riesige „Saguaros“, die 12-15m hoch werden. Abgesehen von der einzigartigen Flora und Fauna habe ich noch nie einen so atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang gesehen wie dort in der Wüste. |
Part I of my US photo series: Lone Rock Beach was shot in Utah at the end of our trip. The second part I’m presenting you today on the other hand was created right at the beginning of our road trip. After having left LA the first thing on our List was Tucson, or the Saguaro National Park to be more specifiv. Imagine a landscape full of different kinds of cacti. But not some regular cacti, because the „Saguaros“ can reach an 12-15m height. Despite the very unique flora and fauna I also never witnessed such a breathtaking sunset like the one in the desert. |

LOST
The 6-hour drive from LA to Phoenix and then another one and a half hours to Tucson was well worth it because at the end — when we arrived at the SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK — we were rewarded with the most amazing landscape I’ve seen until this point. A land dotted with different kinds of cacti as far as the eye can see.
