my favourite lipsticks for fall

Wenn man keine Angst mehr haben muss, dass einem das Gesicht weg schmilzt und die Tage etwas kühler werden, dann ist es endlich wieder Zeit für dunkle und kräftige Lippenstifte. Meine Lieblingslippenstifte für den Herbst stelle ich euch heute kurz vor.

(1) YSL Vernis à Lèvres in Nr.2 „Brun Glace”. Ein rotbrauner Lipgloss – besser gesagt ein Lippenlack und ihr wisst ja, wie sehr wir die Lip Laquers von YSL lieben. Ultra langanhaltend und tolle Farbkraft. Ein Rotbraun, fast schon mehr Braun als Rot; eine Farbe, zu der vielleicht nicht viele greifen würden. Irgendwie unscheinbar und doch so auffällig. Was ich aber besonders schön an diesen Lipgloss finde, ist der extreme Glanz. Denn dieser lässt das Rotbraun so edel und elegant aussehen!

(2) YSL Rouge Pur Couture Mat in Nr.204 „Rouge Scandal”. Ein dunkelroter Lippenstift – der Klassiker. Ob glossy oder matt, Rot sieht immer schön aus. Ich persönlich bevorzuge aber ein mattes Finish. Das Problem bei matten Lippenstiften ist jedoch immer, dass sie schnell austrocknend sein können. Die Rouge Pur Couture Mat Lippenstifte von YSL sind cremig und leicht aufzutragen, vom Tragegefühl recht angenehm und mit einem Lippenkonturstift muss man sich nach dem Auftrag kaum mehr Sorgen machen, dass irgendetwas daneben geht. Die Farbe hat leichte Blau-Untertöne. Kühl genug, um die Zähne etwas weißer aussehen zu lassen, aber nicht zu kühl. Zu diesem Lippenstift ist schwarzer Eyeliner unschlagbar.

(3) Topshop Lippenstift in „Inhibition”. Für das dunkle Violett mit Matt-Finish muss man schon etwas mutiger sein. Die Farbe sieht jedoch an jeder Haarfarbe toll aus – zu blond oder braun, aber ganz besonders zu rot. Dazu würde ich ganz leichtes und helles Make-Up tragen, damit der Look nicht zu schwer wirkt: Etwas Bronzer, Highlighter, Hautfarbener Lidschatten und ordentlich Mascara. „Inhibition” konnte ich online nicht mehr finden, aber der Lippenstift „The Damned” ist mit dem rötlicherem Violett und dem mattem Finish eine sehr schöne Alternative.

(4) YSL Rouge Volupté in Nr.10 „Provocative Pink”. Der knalligste unter meinen Lieblingen. Nisi hat mich schon lange versucht, mich zu einem fuchsiafarbenen Lippenstift zu überreden, da er wohl super zu meiner Haarfarbe passt. Joa, das finde ich auch :) Und endlich habe ich mich getraut und trage diesen Lippenstift nun ständig. Er peppt jedes Outfit auf und die Rouge Volupté Lippenstifte ist so angenehm zu tragen.

Ein kleiner Tipp zum Schluss: Ich bin der Meinung, dass man Bronzer das ganze Jahr über tragen kann, aber man sollte es auf jeden Fall, wenn man sich für eine dunkle Lippe entscheidet. Denn die macht zusätzlich blass und Goth-Look ist nicht wirklich so mein Fall. Welche Lippenstifte tragt ihr am liebsten im Herbst?


When you don’t have to be afraid anymore that your face might melt off and the days get a bit cooler, then it’s finally time again for bold and dark lips! Today I show you my favourite lipsticks for fall.
(1) YSL Vernis à Lèvres in Nr.2 „Brun Glace”. A red-browny Lipgloss or should I better say Lip Laquer? And you know how we love the ones from YSL. Extremely longlasting and great colour pay-off. This red-brown colour is more brown than red and is not something many people would reach for. Not so conspicuous but in the same time it is. What i really like about this lip laquer is this extremely glossy finish it gives. This makes the red-brown colour look so elegant!
(2) YSL Rouge Pur Couture mat in Nr.204 „Rouge Scandal”. The dark red lip – a classic. No matter if glossy or mat red does always look great. I personally prefer a mat finish but the problem with those is that they’re often quite drying. Not so much with the Rouge Pur Couture Mat from YSL though. They’re creamy and easy to apply, they feel quite nice on the lips and with a lip liner you don’t really have to worry that you look like The Joker halfway through the day. This red has slighty blue untertones, enough to make your teeth look whiter but not too cool either. This lipstick goes perfect with a black eyeliner!
(3) Topshop Lipstick in „Inhibition”. I think this dark purple is a little bit more daring. Anyway, it totally goes with every hair colour: blond, brown and especially red. To this lipstick I would wear a very light and bright makeup so the look is not too heavy: A little bit of bronzer, highlighter, nude eyeshadow and lots of mascara. I couldn’t find „Inhibition” online anymore but „The Damned” is a bit more reddish and a great alternative.
(4) YSL Rouge Volupté in Nr.10 „Provocative Pink”. The most flashy one out of my favourites. Nisi tried to talk me into a fuchsia lipstick for a long time know. She says it goes really nice with my hair colour. And well, I agree to that. It took me a while to finally give it a go but know I wear it all the time. It adds a little something to every outfit and also the Rouge Volupté lipsticks do feel really nice on the lips.
A last little advice: I think you could wear bronzer all year long but you definitely should whenever you’re wearing a dark lip. They can wash you out quite easy and a goth look is not something I would go for ;)
