Polka Dots

Ich habe Polka Dots wieder ganz für mich entdeckt. Obwohl ich eine lange Zeit dachte, dass das Muster (an mir) immer zu süß und zu kindlich wirkt. Doch wie es oft so ist, hat sich auch diese Ansicht ein wenig geändert.

Vor allem, wenn man immer wieder gelungene Outfitkombinationen mit genau diesem Muster sieht, die ganz und gar nicht zu niedlich aussehen. Also packte ich einen gepunkteten Wickelrock in meinem Koffer und nahm ihn mit in den Urlaub auf Mallorca. Kombiniert mit einem schimmernden Top von Edited the Label, Statement-Ohrringen und einer Clutch wirkte das Outfit sogar abendtauglich. Ich habe ihn jedoch auf dem Wochenmarkt in Sineu getragen. Mit Sandalen und großer Sonnenbrille war das Outfit ideal zum Bummeln – etwas schick vielleicht, aber das ist auch nicht weiter schlimm ;)

I’ve recently kind of wrapped my head around the idea of wearing polka dots. I always thought they look too cute, too childish – at least on me. Doch was with a lot of things your opinion can change over time. Especially with seeing lots of gorgeous and not too cute outfits and combinations featuring this specific print. So I packed my bags for our Majorca vacation and brought a wrap skirt with polka dots with me. Paired with a shimmery camisole from Edited the Label, some statement earrings and a clutch the look is even night-out appropriate. But I wore it to the Farmer’s Market in Sineu. I wore it with sandals and big sunglasses so it was perfect for the stroll around the market – maybe a bit chic, but that’s totally fine ;)
