Wie immer haben wir eine Mischung aus Reise-Impressionen, Fashion und Food für euch gesammelt – kleine Restaurant- und Bar-Tipps für Havanna inklusive. Dabei haben wir versucht, den kubanischen Flair so gut es geht einzufangen!

- „La Roma“ Bar. Calle Aguacate, Centre San Juan de Dios y O’Reilly. Man läuft etwa 4-5 Stockwerke nach oben, vorbei an verlassenen Etagen, heruntergekommenen Fließen und Marmortreppen – die Überreste der glorreichen 50er. Oben angekommen steht man in einer beleuchteten Rooftop-Bar, wo Leute tanzen und Musik gespielt wird. Der Ausblick ist Wahnsinn und der Kontrast von neu und alt könnte nicht typischer für Kuba sein. Fun Fact: Wenn man hier auf die Toilette geht, muss man durch das Wohnzimmer der Bewohner ;)You walk up 4 or 5 abandoned floors, passing old tiles and marble stairways – remains of the golden 50s. At the top you’ll find a rooftop bar with music and dancing people. The view is incredible, the contrast of old and new couldn’t be more Cuban. Fun fact: If you want to go to the toilette you have to go across the owner’s living room.
- Restaurant „La Guarida“. 418 Concordia. Es ist ein eher nobles Restaurant. Das Essen ist deliziös, die Atmosphäre und das Interior (besonders die vom Badezimmer) ist wunderschön. Fragt nach dem Special Coffee – eine Mischung aus Espresso, Rum und Limetten. This restaurant is a bit more fancy. The food is super delicious, the atmosphere and the interior (especially the restrooms) are beautiful. Ask for the special coffee – a mix of espresso, rum and limes!
- „El de Enfrente“ Bar. 303 O’Reilly. Eine Cocktailbar, die sich aber durch das gute Essen auch sehr gut als Lunch-Spot eignet. Empfehlenswert: Thunfisch(-Steak), Ceviche und die Tacos! It’s a cocktail bar which has great food. We recommend: the tuna steak, ceviche and tacos!
- „O’Reilly 304“ Restaurant. 304 O’Reilly. Ein weiterer Spot zum Lunchen. Es wirkt cool und hip und das Essen ist lecker – lokal und typisch, aber nicht soo fettig frittiert und schwer wie sonst auf Kuba üblich. Another perfect lunch spot. It’s hip, cool and the food is delicious, local and authentic but not as greasy and heavy as usual.
- „Paladar Doña Eutimia“ Restaurant. 60C Callejon del Chorro. Es liegt zwar in der Touristen-Hochburg, das Essen ist aber einfach zu lecker! Besonders das Lammgericht und die Bohnen (die es typischerweise immer zum Essen dazu gibt) sind extrem köstlich! Ot’s located in a tourist area but the food is just too yummy to be missed! Especially the lamb – speciality of the house – and the beans (which is a typical side dish in Cuba) are very tasty!
- „El Cocinero Paladar“ Bar & Restaurant. Calle 26. Das Essen ist auf jeden Fall lecker und die Bar in einem alten Schornstein ist cool anzuschauen. The food is delicious and the bar is in a big old chimney.
