The Blue Mini Dress

Heute wird’s mal wieder richtig farbig! Denn auch wenn knallige Farben in meiner Alltagsgarderobe selten vertreten sind, greife ich bei gegebenem Anlass gerne mal zu intensiveren Nuancen.

So hat es mich bei der aktuellen Hitzewelle und unserem kleinen Mallorca-Getaway dazu verschlagen wieder ein wenig mehr mit Farbe zu experimentieren und zu Tönen zu greifen, die ich im Alltag eher selten trage. Inspiriert von der Wärme und dem Farbglanz des Meeres, hat mich das blaue Kleid beinahe schon magisch angezogen, denn: Nicht nur verbinden wir die Farbe Blau mit Ruhe, Stille und Entspannung, sie ist auch das Sinnbild für Sehnsucht, Freiheit, Ferne und Ewigkeit – und symbolisiert damit für mich perfekt die Atmosphäre Mallorcas.

Today it’s going to be colorful! Even though I don’t reach for colorful pieces in my daily wadrobe that often, sometimes there are occasions where I wear more bright and intense shades.
In the case of the current heatwave and our little Majorca getaway I was keen to experiment and to try out colors I don’t usually wear that often. Inspired by the warmth and color of the sea I was kinda magically attracted to this blue mini dress. Not only the color blue is associated with the calm and relaxation, the color blue also stands for desire, liberty, remoteness and eternity – and with that it perfectly portrays the atmosphere of Majorca in my eyes.
