Wenn man die rosane Fassaden der La Muralla Roja sieht, denkt jeder Beauty-Junkie doch glatt an die Moisture Surge-Reihe von Clinique. Farblich gesehen ist es ein perfekter Match. Ich kenne so einige, die die Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief verwenden. Nun gibt es da eine Neuheit aus der Reihe: Der Moisture-Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator. Und diesen hatten wir mit im Gepäck.
Der Moisture-Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator ist vielseitig einsetzbar. Hier sind 6 Möglichkeiten:
Looking at the pink fassades of La Muralla Roja some beauty junkies probably will think of Clinique’s Moisture Surge series. Colorwise it’s a perfect match. I know quite a few using the Misture Surge Extended Thirst Relief regularly. Now there’s a new product added to the line: the Moisture-Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator. And we brought this one with us on our trip.
The Moisture-Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator (what a name!) is supposed to deliver an extra moisture boost – with help of aloe, urea and hyaluronic acid. Typical for Clinique it doesn’t contain any fragrance. The texture is a gel, it’s very cooling and light and therefore interesting for combo skins. Also a little goes a long way which comes in handy with all it’s multiple kind of uses (more of that below). Since it contains antioxidants I would have wished it to come in a tube or dispenser though. The silicones in this moisturizer make it work well as a primer, but those with skin that’s sensible to silicones should be aware of that.
The Moisture-Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is multifunctional. Here are 6 ways to use this moisturizer:
Die Feuchtigkeitscreme ist die Basis jeder guten Pflegeroutine. Hat man Moisture Surge erst ein mal aufgetragen, soll die Haut 72 Stunden die Feuchtigkeit speichern können. Zur Stundenzahl kann ich nichts sagen, aber die Creme ist für mich ein guter Primer/Make-Up-Grundlage (hier kommen die Silikone ins Spiel), sie ist dabei leicht und fettet nicht nach. Sie lässt sich bei Bedarf auch über dem Make-Up anwenden. Ich brauche das bspw. bei trockenen Stellen um die Nase herum. Das gleiche gilt für trockene Ellenbogen oder andere Wehwehchen.
The moisturizer is the base of a good skincare routine. Once you’ve applied Moisture Surge the skin is supposed to be able to save the moisture for 72 hours. Can’t say anything about those hours but the gel-textured creme works well for me as a primer (the silicones come in handy here) while it’s also very lightweight and doesn’t leave my skin oily. It works above make-up as well if needed. I for myself need some extra moisture boost around my nose from time to time. Same goes with dry elbows or any other spots that need extra care.
Viel auf Reisen? Besonders auf Flügen leidet die Hat an Feuchtigkeitsverlust – das merken wir selbst immer wieder. Wie wär’s also mit einer 5-Minuten-Feuchtigkeitsmaske im Flug (oder zu Hause). Einfach eine Schicht auf’s Gesicht auftragen – sie ist nahezu durchsichtig -, für eine kleine Weile zurücklehnen und anschließend die Maske einfach mit einem Kosmetiktuch abnehmen und die Reste einmassieren. Die Maske wirkt wie eine Art Schutzschicht.
Travelling much? Especially flights really dry out your skin. So why not use a 5-minute face mask on a flight (or at home)? Just apply a layer on your face – it’s almost translucent -, lean back for a moment and simply take of the mask with a tissue afterwards and massage in what’s left. The masks almost works like a protecting shield.
Mische die Feuchtigkeitspflege mit deinem Lieblings-Highlighter und trage es auf die Highlighter-Spots auf oder verteile es auf dem Gesicht für einen All-Over-Glow.
Mix the moisturizer with your favorite highlighter – apply on those parts that need to be highlighter or use the mixture on your whole face or an all-over-glow.
Warum soll nur das Gesicht vom Feuchtigkeits-Boost profitieren? Das Nagelbett braucht ebenso viel Pflege. Massiere ein wenig Moisture Surge auf die Nagelhaut. Das Beste daran: die Creme bildet eine Art Film auf der Haut, so bleibt die Feuchtigkeit auch nach dem Händewaschen erhalten.
Why should only the face get all of that moisture boost? The bed of the nail also need some extra care. Massage a bit of Moisture Surge on your cuticles. The best part: Due to an innovatve technology – a so called moisture holding super matrix – the moisture is kept locked in.
Verreibe einen Klecks Moisture Surge in den Händen und geh damit durch die Haarlängen. So wirst du Frizz los ohne das Haar zu beschweren.
Rub a small amount between your fingers and go through the ends of your hair. That way you cans ay goodbye to frizz without weighing down your hair.

Mische ein paar Tropfen Bronzing Gel-Tint oder Selbstbräuner mit Moisture Surge für einen sonnengeküssten Teint. Der Bronzer ist somit pflegender und hat ein semi-transparentes Finish. Durch die gelartige Textur lässt sich der Selbstbräuner viel einfacher gründlich und fleckenlos verteilen.
Mix in a few drops of Bronzing Gel-Tint or self tanner with Moisture Surge to get a sun-kissed complexion. The bronzer is much more moisturizing that way and achieves more like a semi transparent finish. Because of the gel texture the self tan is also much easier to apply.

Mir gefällt, dass ihr hier auf verschiedene Anwendungsmöglichkeiten eingegangen seit. Vor allem die Idee mit dem Selbstbräuner würde ich tatsächlich mal ausprobieren, weil der bei mir sonst immer streifig wird!
